DAVE GUTTERUD – Director of Operations
Dave has been involved in the environmental industry since 1984 when he began work with the one of the nation's largest hazardous materials remediation contractors. He had primary responsibility for removal projects totaling over five million dollars and was involved with countless others. His six years in the remediation industry included asbestos abatement project supervision, microbial abatement project supervision, project estimation and design, administration, employee training and job tracking. Normal assignments included high profile or highly sensitive projects within hospitals, office buildings and schools although he also has extensive industrial experience including paper processing and power plants.
Since entering the consulting industry, he has been involved in a variety of environmental issues. This has included microbial remediation design, Computer Aided Facility Management (CAFM), disaster response services, asbestos and lead detection and removal, indoor air quality investigations, OSHA compliance, health and safety program design and a wide variety of industrial hygiene testing activities. His positions have included Project Manager for Industrial Hygiene and Safety at HWM Technologies, President & Director of Operations for Concept Environmental Services and, most recently, Director of Operations for AirTech Environmental, Inc. His experience in both the contracting and the consulting fields has given Dave the ability to view projects comprehensively.
Dave is currently associated with a number of training providers throughout the country including the Midwest Center and the University of North Dakota and regularly lectures on a variety of topics for them including safety, microbial testing and remediation, asbestos and lead. He has also participated in the formulation and revision of regulations through the Minnesota Department of Health and the Minnesota Department of Education.

BRUCE LIGHTNER - Director of Facility Management Services
Bruce has been involved in Property Management and Facilities Management since 1977 when he began work with the City of St. Paul in their Property Management Department. He had primary responsibility for maintaining and managing City owned properties, as well as the development of a City Owned Property Management Information System, before moving to St. Paul Public Schools to develop energy management, asbestos and environmental management programs.
In 1980 Bruce moved to Hennepin County where he spent twenty six years working in the Property Management Department where his duties consisted of managing medical and economic assistance facilities, preparing and managing operating budgets, developing specifications for janitorial and service contracts, and assisting in the development of a variety of Facilities Management Planning programs.
As a Construction Project Manager with Hennepin County, Bruce's responsibilities included:

JIM VISKOCIL, CIH – Director of Industrial Hygiene
Jim is certified in the Comprehensive Practice of Industrial Hygiene by the American Board of Industrial Hygiene. He has over eighteen years experience in the environmental and occupational hygiene field and formerly served as a United States Environmental Protection Agency (US EPA) Compliance Officer and an Environmental Specialist for the Wisconsin Division of Health. His professional emphasis is on indoor air quality, general industrial hygiene exposure monitoring, regulatory compliance, building commissioning and hazardous materials issues.
Mr. Viskocil served as Program Manager for the Midwest Center for Occupational Health and Safety a NIOSH Educational Resource Center from 1990 to 1995. While with the Center Mr. Viskocil coordinated the National Institute for Environmental Health Sciences’ (NIEHS) hazardous materials program and the US EPA Regional Lead Training Center. As Course Director at the Midwest Center, he also supervised and served as an instructor for the following courses:

In addition, Jim has served as past National Committee Chair for the Construction and Operations and Maintenance Committee of the National Asbestos Council and is a former member of the Minnesota State ECSU Health and Safety Committee.
