Is Mold Testing Really What You Need?
Mold testing can be expensive and it may not be exactly what you need. To help you decide if testing is right for you we have put together some questions to consider.
What exactly do you want to find out?
Mold testing does not give you all the answers in all cases. Mold testing is good in two general cases; 1) to determine if mold is present, and 2) to determine what molds are present. If you want to know either of those things then mold testing might be a good option.
However, mold testing will not tell you where the mold is, what caused the mold growth or what to do about the mold. If you need to know any of those things you will more likely need a mold investigation or a mold consultation.
